As a Senior Consultant, you will bring deep practice expertise to our client engagements and play a key role in both how we deliver and how we grow our people. You will lead smaller engagements from start to finish, lead workstreams within larger projects, and be a people leader for our interns and graduates, helping them build the capability and confidence to progress along our consulting pathway. This role will report to one of our Leadership team, and you will work closely with our senior leaders and Partners on a regular basis, while leading and supporting the interns and graduates in your team. What this role is responsible for In this role you will be responsible for: Client delivery and engagement leadership • Leading smaller engagements end to end, including scoping, planning, delivery, quality assurance and close-out. • Defining the scope, objectives and methodology of engagements, and managing client expectations throughout delivery. • Leading workstreams within larger projects and delivering defined work packages to agreed scope, timeframes and resourcing budget. • Directing research, stakeholder interviews and analysis of client operations, systems and structures, and applying deeper sector or practice expertise to diagnose the underlying organisational and operational problems. • Developing evidence-based solutions to operational challenges, cultural misalignment, customer dissatisfaction and process inefficiencies, tailored to each client’s circumstances. • Acting as a trusted day-to-day contact for client stakeholders, managing expectations and raising risks and issues early. • Guiding clients through the implementation of approved recommendations, including operational improvement frameworks, the adoption of new processes and systems, and the change management needed to sustain improvements in efficiency and performance. • Managing engagement governance, including deliverable tracking, risk and issue management, reporting and milestone control, and assuring the quality of all work before it reaches the client. People leadership • Leading, coaching and mentoring interns and graduates, including allocating work, setting clear expectations, reviewing their work and providing regular feedback. • Building capability within client teams so that improvements are sustained beyond the life of an engagement. • Contributing to onboarding, performance conversations and development planning for the interns and graduates you lead. • Role-modelling our values-based behaviours on site with clients and within the Bridge team. Commercial and business growth • Managing the performance of the engagements you lead, including effort, resourcing and deliverables. • Identifying opportunities to extend or expand client relationships and supporting Partners with proposals. • Contributing to practice development, including methodologies, tools, templates and thought leadership in your area of expertise. • Managing scope and raising change requests for out-of-scope work • Estimating effort and resourcing, and costing work packages for proposals • Planning resources so interns and grads take on appropriate work and engagements stay profitable • Building business cases and quantifying the value of recommendations for clients How you will succeed Your success will positively contribute to our core performance pillars: • High Performance Culture • Excellence in Client Delivery • Commercial with Heart • Strategic Growth You will demonstrate values-based performance within the Bridge Team and with Client assignments, and you will be measured on the quality of your engagement delivery, client feedback, the commercial outcomes of the work you lead, and the growth of the interns and graduates in your team. Who you are You have: • An undergraduate degree in commerce, business administration, or a related field. • Proven relevant experience, including experience in consulting or advisory roles • Deeper expertise in at least one sector or practice area relevant to our clients • A track record of leading smaller engagements or workstreams and delivering to scope, timeframes and budget • Experience leading, coaching or supervising junior team members • Credibility with senior client stakeholders and strong stakeholder management skills • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite • Minimum 3 years experience in a management consulting business either in an internal strategy function, boutique or big 4. Salary Effective pay rate AUD 110,000 per annum + 12% superannuation + 10% STI Pay: $134,200.00 per year
