Venue Manager

We are seeking a Cafe Manager to join our team on a full time basis. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily bakery and front of house operations to ensure smooth workflow efficiency, and consistent product quality
• Collaborate with bakers and kitchen staff on product planning, seasonal offerings. and production schedules based on customer demands
• Plan and coordinate special orders, pop ups, markets or promotional events, ensuring high standards of execution and customer satisfaction
• Manage procurement, liaise with suppliers, set product pricing and monitor costs to maintain quality within budget 
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and financial transactions to support effective business operations and reporting
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, health and hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean, safe and well rpesented working environment
• Engage with customers to gather feedback, resolve concerns and continuously improve service and product offerings
• Recruit, train, supervise and support bakery and front of house staff, fostering positive, efficient and customer focused team culture
• Oversee customer service operations including order management, customer interactions, and support during peak service period

Qualification and Experience Required

• At least 3 years relevant Experience 
• Relevant qualification are highly regarded, but not essential

Skills Required

• Proven experience managing a cafe, bakery or hospitality venue
• Strong leadership, staff training and rostering skills
• Budgeting, cost control and stock management skills
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience coordinating events, markets or special orders
