About the Role
Digital Recruiter Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced full-time ICT Project Manager to plan, manage and deliver technology projects from initiation through to implementation and closure.
The role will be responsible for coordinating project resources, schedules, budgets, risks, stakeholders and deliverables to ensure ICT projects are delivered within agreed scope, quality, timelines and budget.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, organise, manage and coordinate end-to-end delivery of ICT projects.
• Develop detailed project plans covering scope, deliverables, milestones, timelines, budgets and resource requirements.
• Manage the complete project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, implementation and closure.
• Coordinate technical teams and project resources, including developers, business analysts, architects, testers, infrastructure teams and other ICT professionals.
• Manage project schedules, priorities, dependencies and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress against agreed milestones, budgets and delivery objectives.
• Identify, assess and manage project risks, issues and dependencies and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Manage the implementation and integration of technology solutions across relevant systems and environments.
• Work with business and technical stakeholders to define project requirements, priorities and expected outcomes.
• Manage project governance, status reporting, documentation and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate vendors, technology partners and other external stakeholders where required.
• Establish and maintain appropriate project quality assurance processes and standards.
• Manage project scope and change-control processes.
• Ensure ICT solutions and project outcomes meet agreed business, technical, security and quality requirements.
• Provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders on project status, risks, budgets, milestones and deliverables.
• Facilitate project meetings, workshops, steering committees and stakeholder reviews.
• Ensure projects are successfully transitioned into operational environments following implementation.
Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• At least 1 year of demonstrated professional experience managing complex ICT projects.
• Strong understanding of ICT project management methodologies, governance and delivery frameworks.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary technology teams and stakeholders.
• Strong experience in project planning, budgeting, resource management, risk management and project reporting.
• Experience delivering technology implementation, integration, transformation or application-development projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within agreed timeframes and budgets.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Knowledge of project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project or equivalent.
Preferred
• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile certification.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale ICT transformation or technology implementation projects.
• Experience working in complex client and stakeholder environments.
Key Outcomes
The successful candidate will be accountable for ensuring assigned ICT projects are appropriately planned, resourced and governed and that agreed project milestones, objectives and deliverables are achieved within approved timeframes and budgets
