Your new role

• Carry out civil labouring and maintenance tasks as directed by supervisors.
• Assist with the construction and upkeep of roads, drainage, footpaths, parks, and other infrastructure.
• Safely operate hand and power tools.
• Support the team to deliver projects and maintenance works efficiently.
• Conduct site safety checks and maintain clean, compliant worksites.
• Follow all WHS policies and promote a strong safety culture.
• Provide professional customer service to residents and stakeholders.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Assist with emergency response and after-hours work when required.

What you'll need to succeed

• Certificate II in Civil Construction or relevant industry experience.
• Construction White Card.
• Current QLD C Class Licence (Construction Labourer) or MR Licence (Maintenance Labourer).
• Traffic Management Implementation (TMI) accreditation or willingness to obtain.
• Experience operating light plant, machinery, and equipment safely.
• Sound communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
