Your new company
Our client is a leading contractor delivering critical maintenance and project works across Queensland's energy sector. With a strong reputation for safety, quality and project delivery, they are seeking experienced Pressure Welders to support a major power station shutdown project.
Your new role
As a Pressure Welder, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding activities on power generation equipment and associated infrastructure. Working 12-hour shifts on a 13 days on, 1 day off roster, you will play a key role in ensuring shutdown works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. This is a 4-week shutdown commencing ASAP, with FIFO available from anywhere in Australia and DIDO options also considered. Accommodation, meals and transport will be provided throughout the project.
What you'll need to succeed
- Trade-qualified Pressure Welder
- Current welding qualifications and certifications
- Demonstrated experience in pressure welding environments
- Power station, boiler or heavy industrial experience preferred
- Experience welding Inconel and 9 Chrome materials highly regarded
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and police check immediately
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 13/1 roster
- Available for an immediate start
