Intura is seeking qualified and experienced Calibration Technician/Maintenance Planner to join our team of professionals in Chinchilla QLD. In this role, you will integrate precision equipment testing with proactive maintenance scheduling to maximise reliability and minimise downtime. Job duties include but will not be limited to: Calibrate instruments & equipment Plan, schedule and coordinate routine and corrective calibration activities for electrical, electronic, pressure, temperature and process instrumentation Diagnose out-of-tolerance readings, isolate mechanical or electrical equipment failures, and perform root-cause analysis Ensure calibration activities are completed in accordance with relevant procedures, manufacturer specifications, IEC/industry standards and client requirements Prepare and maintain equipment maintenance and testing reports in line with company QA systems Maintain accurate calibration certificates, asset history, and regulatory audit records Ensure the accuracy, precision, and reliability of measurement instruments, tools, and equipment used in Solar farms, Oil and Gas industries Adjust, repair, or troubleshoot instruments that are out of tolerance Label equipment with calibration status and due dates Qualifications, Key Skills, and Attributes Technical Expertise: Knowledge of industry calibration standards and proficiency with calibration software, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other specialised equipment for calibration Hands-On Skills: Strong practical skills for working with intricate machinery and performing adjustments Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to conducting tests, recording data, and ensuring accuracy Problem-Solving: The ability to quickly identify and resolve issues with instruments and equipment Analytical Skills: Capability to analyse readings, assess equipment performance, and suggest improvements Communication Skills: Clear oral and written communication for documenting work and interacting with colleagues and management.
