Salary: $80,000 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
Restaurant Performance Works Pty Ltd is seeking a Management Consultant to provide business and operational improvement consulting to restaurants, cafés, catering businesses and other hospitality operators.
The role
Work with business owners, managers and operational teams to review business processes, identify organisational and operational gaps, and develop practical strategies to improve efficiency, resource utilisation and business performance.
Key responsibilities
• Consult with clients to understand their objectives, operational challenges and business requirements.
• Analyse organisational structures, workflows, management systems and operating procedures to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Review purchasing and inventory processes, staffing procedures, food production workflows and service systems in the context of clients’ business objectives.
• Analyse business records and operational data to develop evidence-based recommendations for process improvement and cost control.
• Prepare business improvement plans, consulting reports, process documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Recommend changes to workflows, job functions and resource allocation, and assist clients to implement approved recommendations.
• Work with management and staff to support organisational change and provide guidance on improved processes and systems.
• Monitor implementation outcomes, assess operational performance and recommend further improvements.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to business owners and management, and maintain records of consulting engagements.
Skills and experience
• Demonstrated ability to analyse business processes, identify organisational problems and develop practical improvement recommendations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and business-data interpretation skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including report preparation and presentation of recommendations.
• Strong organisational, project coordination and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements.
• Relevant qualifications and/or professional experience in business, management, operations, consulting or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
• Experience in hospitality or food-service operations, process optimisation or business improvement is desirable.
