Task & responsibilities

? Basic food preparation.

? Prepare and cook food according to recipes.

? Plate up meals with quality, consistency and presentation of all dishes in mind.

? Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment as required.

? Store food correctly, and rotate stock to ensure freshness.

? Observe stock levels, food costs, labour costs and wastage.

? Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.

? Communicate with management and front-of-house staff regarding kitchen operations.

? Working as a part of a team to ensure the kitchen operates efficiently during busy service

Qualification & experience

Relevant qualifications and at least 12 months of experience at a Cook
