The company was established in 2016 with the mission to develop world scale and class macadamia farms in Australia. SCM owns 6 farms totalling 1 000 acres with 108 000 trees; SCM manages 10 farms for clients on a contractual basis totalling 3 000 acres with 280 000 trees. SCM has expanded into a number of services in the Australian farming industry, namely: - Farm Development & Management - SCM specialises in developing and running mixed crop farms on behalf of investors who cannot live and work full time on their farms; - Plan, organise, control, coordinate and perform farming operations to grow a variety of broadacre crops and nut trees. The Office Manager will be responsible for the efficient operation of office administration aspect of our main office and the subsidiary offices located across some of the 16 farms mentioned above. The Office Manager will oversee the work of personnel/contractors and manage the administrative requirements, including office supplies, workspace management, and occupational health and safety issues within the office space. Key responsibilities include: - Allocating human resources, space and equipment, whilst assigning work to and monitoring work performance of staff; - Contributing to the planning and review of office services, and setting priorities and office service standards in addition to coordinating personnel activities such as hiring, promotions, performance management, payroll, training and supervision. - Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and that office equipment and supplies are maintained; - Ensuring work complies with relevant government legislation, policies and procedures; - Whilst liaising with colleagues to coordinate office business and to facilitate resolution of problems; - Managing records and accounts of our Offices. To be considered you will need a tertiary qualification commensurate with an AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma and at least one year of relevant post-qualification employment experience. This is a full time role and an immediate start is available. A remuneration package of $80,000 - $85,000 per annum will be offered to the successful candidate.
