Role: This is an opportunity to partner closely with leaders and employees to turn people priorities into practical, meaningful outcomes. You will combine strategic HR partnering with hands-on delivery across employee relations, performance, career development, engagement, wellbeing, inclusion and people analytics. Your work will help leaders make informed decisions and create a fair, connected and high-performing workplace. What you will do • Build trusted relationships with leaders and employees, providing clear and practical guidance on HR policies, processes and people matters. • Coach managers on employee relations matters and support fair, consistent and timely outcomes in line with local employment obligations. • Lead the delivery of performance and appraisal cycles, including employee awareness sessions and manager support. • Increase participation in career development platforms, mentoring programs and other initiatives that support employee growth. • Design and deliver employee engagement, wellbeing, corporate social responsibility, diversity and inclusion initiatives tailored to business needs. • Turn employee survey feedback into focused action plans, working with leaders to track progress and close agreed actions. • Create opportunities for connection through town halls, leadership programs and regular in-person HR engagement across relevant business locations. • Partner with specialist HR teams to deliver organisation-wide people programs and continuously improve the employee experience. • Prepare clear monthly and quarterly insights on engagement, attrition, timesheet management and other agreed people measures. What you bring • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline. • Experience in an HR generalist or HR business partnering role, with exposure to performance management, employee relations, engagement and HR reporting. • Sound knowledge of HR policies, employee relations practices and Australian employment compliance requirements. • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and coaching skills, with the judgement to handle sensitive matters professionally. • Experience designing, coordinating or sustaining people programs and improvement initiatives. • An analytical mindset and practical capability with Excel and/or business intelligence tools for reporting and trend analysis. • Confident communication, facilitation and workshop delivery skills. • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across HR teams and business functions. Desirable experience • A postgraduate qualification or MBA with a focus on Human Resources. • Experience using enterprise platforms for performance, career development or mentoring programs. • Experience supporting a geographically distributed or matrixed workforce. Work environment This is a full-time hybrid role based in North Sydney. Regular visits to relevant business and stakeholder locations may be required for in-person HR engagement.
