15 Farm workers wanted for apple thinning and apple harvest, avocado and cherry harvesting 2026-27 and ongoing in Manjimup WA. Register now for 15 positions to start 15 December 2026 and going until July 10 2027. Work starts with Thinning which covers several weeks to mid January. avocado and cherry harvest concurrent. Then apple Harvest starts mid February 2027 and continues until end May. There will be sundry other orchard work outside of these dates. Apple thinning is a very repetitive/boring job, standing all day and removing by hand the excess small apples on the trees. Apple picking is hard physical work, requiring you to pick and carry between 15-30kg of fruit, often using ladders. A lot of people find they are not suited to this work. Our crews need to be fit and able to work for long hours at the same task, often in adverse weather conditions. Outside of peak seasonal work periods, other tasks according to experience may include tractor and forklift operation, spraying, planting, trellising, tree training, irrigation installation, checking and operating, protective netting installation and removal, pest bird control. Pay in accordance with experience between level 1-Level 4 according to the Horticulture Award 2020. This is a temporary fulltime position. Hours are 7am - 4pm Monday to Friday, Saturday work and work outside of these hours may be required.
