Based in Smithfield Plains, we support individuals living with disability, aged clients and people requiring assistance to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life. We are seeking a caring, dependable and experienced Aged or Disabled Carer to join our team. Key Responsibilities Support clients with personal care routines, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and other hygiene needs in a respectful and dignified manner. Assist clients with safe movement, transfers and mobility, including using mobility aids where required. Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning, tidying, laundry and changing linen. Prepare nutritious meals and assist clients with eating or feeding where required, in accordance with care plans and dietary needs. Accompany clients to medical appointments, community activities, shopping trips and social outings. Encourage participation in recreational and community activities that promote inclusion and independence. Provide companionship, reassurance and emotional support. Assist with grocery shopping, collecting prescriptions and other practical daily tasks. Monitor clients’ wellbeing, behaviour and condition, and promptly report changes or concerns. Provide behavioural support and medication assistance in accordance with care plans and organisational procedures. Maintain accurate client records and documentation. Qualifications and Experience At least one year of relevant experience in aged care, disability support, personal care, community care or a similar support role. AQF Certificate II or III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Community Services, Health Support or a related field.
