Practice Nurse

Geographe Bay GP is seeking a compassionate, professional and reliable Practice Nurse to join our supportive and patient-focused team.

This is a casual position, working Thursdays from 9:00am to 5:00pm (8 hours per week), plus ability to provide annual leave and sick leave cover.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist GPs with patient care and clinical procedures

• Perform health assessments and chronic disease management activities

• Administer vaccinations and support immunisation programs

• Conduct wound care, ECGs and other nursing procedures as required

• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation

• Manage recalls, reminders and preventative health activities

• Support infection control and accreditation requirements

• Work collaboratively with doctors, reception staff and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care

About you:

• Current AHPRA registration

• Friendly, caring and professional with a patient-centred approach

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

• Reliable, adaptable and committed to delivering quality healthcare

Desirable (but not essential):

• Previous experience in General Practice nursing

• Immunisation certification

• Familiarity with Best Practice software
