This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative, case management and stakeholder engagement skills who is looking to build on their experience within the Australian Government.
About the Role
As an APS4 Case Officer, you will provide high-quality case management and administrative support while working across a range of matters and engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Managing and progressing cases in line with relevant policies, procedures and legislation
- Assessing information and documentation to support case outcomes
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
- Responding to enquiries and providing clear, professional information to stakeholders
- Preparing correspondence, reports and case documentation
- Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Identifying issues and escalating matters where required
- Working collaboratively within a high-volume government environment
About You
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a case management, administration, customer service or government environment
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to interpret information and apply policies and procedures
- Strong computer and systems skills
- A professional and customer-focused approach
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
Security Requirements
- Australian Citizenship is essential
- Baseline security clearance is preferred, or the ability to obtain one
