Carpenter / Joiner

LTU Carpentry specializes in quality carpentry and joinery services, delivering reliable workmanship and tailored solutions across residential and commercial projects. We’re growing and looking for an experienced Carpenter/Joiner to join our friendly, skilled production team. The role involves constructing, installing, repairing and finishing timber structures, joinery, cabinetry, doors, windows and other custom fittings, working onsite and at different client sites around Victoria. Your tasks and responsibilities will be: Studying drawings, plans and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures. Ordering and selecting timbers and materials, and preparing layouts Erecting framework and roof framing, laying sub-flooring and floorboards and verifying trueness of structures Nailing fascia panels, sheathing roofs, and fitting exterior wall cladding and door and window frames Assembling prepared materials to form structures and fittings ready to install May work with other type of materials like metal, plastic and Perspex About You You will ideally have at least 2 years’ experience in Joinery and Carpentry working in residential and commercial sites. You have a Certificate III in Carpentry or similar qualification. You will also be: Reliable, punctual and hardworking Honest, self-motivated and quality-focused Proud of your workmanship A team player with a flexible attitude Friendly and easy to work with Committed to safe work practices Willing to work overtime when required Willing to travel to Regional Victoria A reliable vehicle is required to travel to each job site, and you must have your own cordless power tools suitable for the role.
