About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the store, supporting staff and ensuring customers receive a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize daily store operations and make sure the team is working efficiently and meeting business expectations.

  Assist with recruiting new employees, introducing them to store procedures and providing ongoing guidance and training.

  Monitor stock of mobile phones, accessories and other products, identify items that need replenishing and coordinate stock orders.

  Review sales results and store expenses and assist with managing the store's financial performance.

  Help determine which products to purchase, set suitable retail prices and introduce special offers based on customer demand.

  Make sure staff follow workplace health and safety requirements, company procedures and relevant retail laws.

  Maintain accurate records of sales, purchases, stock transfers, repairs and other store activities using the business's retail systems.

  Assist customers with choosing mobile phones, accessories and repair services by providing practical and knowledgeable advice.

  Plan and coordinate promotional activities, product displays and other in-store marketing initiatives.

  Handle customer enquiries and resolve service issues professionally to maintain positive customer relationships and encourage repeat business.

  Communicate with suppliers and management regarding stock, product availability, store requirements and business performance.

What We Offer

Salary: $79500 + Superannuation per annum

Full-time position – 38 hours per week

Requirements

The successful applicant will have:

• An AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in a relevant field and at least 1 year of relevant work experience, or

  At least 3 years of relevant work experience in place of the formal qualification.

  Previous experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role.

  Good communication and customer service skills.

  Ability to supervise staff and manage day-to-day retail operations.

  Strong organizational skills and attention to stock and financial records.
