Hawkesbury District Health Service is a teaching hospital in Windsor NSW, providing acute, community and allied health services for the local community and surrounding districts. The service provides 24-hour emergency, medical, surgical, diagnostic, maternity, neonatal, paediatric, palliative, intensive and coronary care services. Exciting opportunities are available for Registered Midwives to join the Hawkesbury District Hospital Midwifery team. Working within a supportive environment, you will have the opportunity to provide safe, compassionate and person-centred care to women and their families across a range of maternity settings. As a Registered Midwife, you will work in partnership with women, families, carers and the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality maternity care that supports positive outcomes throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. This rotational role enables you to work across all clinical areas within Maternity Services at Hawkesbury District Hospital, including the Maternity Ward, Birth Unit, Antenatal Clinics and Midwifery at Home. Working across these diverse settings will allow you to further develop your clinical skills while contributing to continuity of care for women and their families. To be successful in this role, you will be committed to delivering compassionate, woman-centred care, have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing-midwifery care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work Demonstrated effective communications written and verbal skills. Demonstrated commitment to professional development. Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team Ability to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit or team requirements.
