Jap Deep Pty Ltd t/a Paradise Poultry Maintenance Planner (ANZSCO: 312911) Full-time/Permanent $80,000–$90,000 per annum (Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.) Duties and Responsibilities *Compile and maintain a digital register of precision and computerised processing machinery, cutting and portioning equipment, packaging equipment, cool rooms, freezers, refrigeration systems, refrigerated transportation vehicles and associated factory equipment. *Develop preventive maintenance plans, on a weekly basis, to support reliable production, equipment availability and continuity of the cold chain. *Generate maintenance work orders and coordinate servicing schedules around production requirements, cleaning programs and planned shutdowns. *Plan regular servicing of processing machinery and refrigeration equipment, prioritising work according to equipment condition, operational risk and maintenance requirements. *Review equipment inspections, fault reports and maintenance histories to identify recurring issues and arrange corrective maintenance. *Estimate labour, spare parts, contractor requirements and costs for planned maintenance and urgent repairs. *Maintain appropriate stocks of critical spare parts and consumables, and coordinate procurement to minimise equipment downtime. *Liaise with production personnel, maintenance technicians, refrigeration specialists and external contractors to coordinate maintenance activities. *Source maintenance providers, obtain quotations and assist in negotiating service agreements for machinery, refrigeration and supporting systems. *Maintain servicing records, maintenance schedules, equipment manuals and contractor documentation. *Coordinate maintenance work in accordance with workplace safety, hygiene and food safety procedures, including equipment isolation and contamination controls. *Monitor maintenance expenditure and completion of scheduled work, and recommend improvements and replacement plans (part or whole) based on nature of equipment and operational guides. Qualifications and Experience *A relevant AQF Diploma *Applicants with a relevant qualification must demonstrate at least one year of relevant work experience. *At least three years of relevant work experience may substitute for the formal qualification. *Experience planning maintenance in poultry processing, food manufacturing or a similar production environment will be highly regarded.
