Key Requirements

Trade Qualification: Mechanical Fitter / Turner & Machinist background.

Manual Machining Expertise: Strong, hands-on background operating manual lathes, millers, and boring machines.

Jobbing Shop Experience: Essential experience working in a fast-paced, high-variance jobbing shop environment.

Leadership Experience: Proven track record supervising tradespeople, assigning work, and managing workshop machinist.

Blueprint Literacy: Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications with high accuracy.

Soft Skills: Clear communication, strong decision making abilities, and a collaborative leadership style.
