Smaash Enterprises Pty Ltd ACN 604 708 723 atf Shri Radhe Krishna Discretionary Trust are seeking a passionate Chef to join our kitchen team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality Thai dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and contributing to menu development.

Task & responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a range of Thai dishes to a consistently high standard
• Manage food preparation, portion control, and presentation
• Ensure kitchen hygiene, food safety, and OH&S standards are maintained
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
• Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
• Assist in menu planning and development of new ‘Chef’ specials 
• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff as required

Qualification & experience

• Proven experience as a Chef, preferably with strong wok skills 
• Relevant trade qualification (certificate IV above)
• Industry experience (at least 12 months)
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Availability for full-time hours, including weekends/public holidays as required
