Industrial/Commercial Cleaning - Rockhampton, Queensland

Canex has an opportunity for 10 x Full Time Industrial/Commercial Cleaner roles for Rockhampton, Queensland The roles can vary and you could be tasked with: - Cleaning machinery, floors and work areas. - Ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards. - Cleaning dust and debris from equipment - Safely handling cleaning chemicals and equipment - Support maintenance teams to ensure smooth operation. For this exciting role you must have a good level of physical fitness, as you are often on your feet and active for the majority of your shift. Requirements: - Ready and able to work long shifts (10 hours a day) - Be flexible in your approach to work - A great attitude with your work - Be neat in tidy - Be reliable and punctual - Be able to work alone or part of a team. You will be required to work on average 38 hours per week. The term of work will be from November 2026 to November 2027 You will be paid either under the Hospitality Industry (General) Award [MA000009], Concrete Products Award 2020 [MA000056], Manufacturing and Associated Industries and Occupations Award 2020 [MA000010] or Cleaning Services Award 2020 [MA000022] - The work will range in pay from an ordinary rate of Level 1 to Level 3 - $24.07/hr up to $26+/hr - Working hours will vary from anywhere from 6am to 11pm, 6 to 7 days per week. - Overtime rates will be paid where applicable - Upskilling & additional allowances may also be paid if you were trained in extra tasks.
