Farm Manager

Blue Eagle (Rural) Pty Ltd is an Australian private company that operates poultry and chicken farming facilities in Queensland, Australia (including locations in Gleneagle and Silverdale). They manage large-scale broiler chicken shed operations. Are you a leader who will work in the sheds, with the livestock, checking the checker & lead the team? This position is available for a competent and highly motivated person who can effectively assist in the management of the day-to-day functions of a farm. The duties will include, but not limited to: Ensuring the excellent welfare of stock Organise and conduct farming operations such as maintaining sheds & surrounding areas, water supply system and equipment Preparation of sheds for batches of chickens Daily operations, feed ordering and movement of livestock Maintain cleanliness, maintenance and stock control Identify and control environmental toxins, weeds, pests, and diseases Daily and weekly reporting Supervision of existing staff and training new staff Managing business capital, monitoring market activity and planning production to meet contract requirements and market demand If you meet the above criteria and would like to be considered for this position, please apply now!
