Welder / Metal Fabricator

Fineweld Stainless Steel produce custom-made stainless steel products for applications to suit for Food, Pharmaceutical and Dairy Industries and Allied Industries. The company is currently recruiting for an experienced and qualified Welder/Metal Fabricator to join their team in Carrum Downs VIC. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess: - Interpreting drawings, specifications and engineering plans - Fabricating sections and components from sheet metal, pipes, wood, fibreglass and other materials - Welding, screwing, riveting and bolting components together to form finished products - Cutting, shaping and grinding sheet metal and plastic to create panels - Carrying out alterations to chassis in accordance with engineering specifications - Experienced in the use of MIG, TIG and ARC welding - Experienced in using different types of metals - Ability to weld in horizontal and vertical positions Skills & Abilities: - Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication Trade or equivalent - Ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience Salary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience Full-time Position available.
