About the role

LEADCON TECH PTY LTD is seeking a full-time Web Developer to join our growing team in Spring Farm, NSW. In this role, you will design, build and maintain responsive websites and web applications for our clients, working closely with project managers and team members from project planning through to delivery.

You will work with modern technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and TypeScript, manage databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL and Oracle, and contribute to Agile development activities including sprint planning, stand-ups and code reviews.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled developer with around 3 years of experience who wants to work on real client projects and contribute from day one.

• Salary: $95,000 – $120,000 per year plus superannuation

Task & responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain websites and web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and TypeScript
• Analyse project requirements and contribute to application architecture and workflow design
• Build responsive, scalable and high-performance web interfaces
• Create prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions during the project planning phase
• Design, develop and manage databases using MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL and Oracle
• Perform application testing, identify defects, debug issues and implement effective solutions
• Maintain source code, technical documentation and version control using GitHub
• Integrate APIs and third-party services to support application functionality
• Optimise website performance, security and usability to enhance the user experience
• Participate in Agile activities including sprint planning, daily stand-ups and code reviews
• Collaborate with clients, project managers and team members to gather and implement business requirements
• Stay up to date with emerging web technologies, frameworks and industry best practices

Qualification & experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Application, Information Technology or a related field
• Around 3 years of experience in front-end or web development
• Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL and Oracle
• Experience using GitHub for version control
• Experience with API integration and testing using Postman
• Experience working with Figma for UI/UX collaboration
• Understanding of Agile software development and team collaboration
• Skills in performance optimisation, troubleshooting and code documentation
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with clients and team members
• No professional licence or registration required
