Build your career with one of Australia's leading financial institutions while helping customers manage one of their most important financial commitments.
We are seeking customer-focused individuals who enjoy problem-solving, building relationships and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This is an opportunity to join a highly supportive team dedicated to assisting customers with their home loan servicing needs.
Your new company
You'll be joining a leading Australian bank committed to supporting the financial wellbeing of its customers and communities.
The Home Loan Servicing team plays a critical role in assisting customers with a wide range of home loan enquiries and servicing requests. You'll receive extensive training, ongoing coaching and genuine career development opportunities within one of Australia's most recognised financial institutions.
Your new role
As a Home Loan Servicing Consultant, you'll be responsible for supporting customers with a variety of home loan and credit card servicing enquiries while delivering a positive and seamless customer experience.
Working in a fast-paced contact centre environment, you'll assist customers with:
- Home loan servicing and account maintenance requests
- Interest rate enquiries
- Redraw and withdrawal requests
- Loan management and account updates
- Credit card servicing enquiries
- Complex customer situations requiring investigation and problem-solving
- General account support and customer guidance
This is a customer service-focused role with calls centred on helping customers manage their existing banking products rather than sales activities.
You can expect to handle approximately 30-50 inbound calls per day, working across multiple systems while maintaining a high standard of customer care and attention to detail.
What you'll need to succeed
We're looking for people with:
- Strong customer service experience
- Excellent communication and rapport-building skills
- High attention to detail and the ability to multitask across multiple systems
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Resilience in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence handling increasingly complex customer enquiries
Banking experience is highly regarded but not essential. Personality, attitude and customer focus are considered just as important as industry experience.
What you'll get in return
- Comprehensive onboarding and training programme
- Ongoing coaching and professional development
- Hybrid working arrangements once proficient
- Genuine temp-to-perm opportunities
- Career development pathways within banking
- Supportive leadership and team environment
- Valuable experience with a Big 4 Bank
- A role focused on customer outcomes and problem-solving
