We are looking for a full-time Construction Site Supervisor (Building Associate) to join the team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for assisting with the day-to-day supervision and coordination of construction activities to help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. This position is a full-time ongoing position, based in Castle Hill, NSW, 2154. Main Tasks: • Assist the Site Manager with the day-to-day supervision, coordination and organisation of construction activities on site. • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and trades to ensure works are carried out in accordance with construction drawings, specifications, project requirements and established work programs. • Assist with planning and sequencing construction activities to support project timelines and efficient site operations. • Monitor construction progress, workmanship and quality, and report progress, delays, defects and other site issues to the Site Manager. • Review and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications and communicate relevant technical and project requirements to subcontractors and trades. • Inspect construction works and materials to assist in ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality requirements and applicable building standards. • Coordinate site logistics, including the scheduling and delivery of construction materials, equipment and other resources required for onsite works. • Monitor the availability of materials and resources and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to minimise delays to the construction program. • Assist with coordinating onsite services and resolving day-to-day construction and sequencing issues in consultation with the Site Manager and project team. • Assist with maintaining site safety, organisation and compliance with established workplace health and safety procedures. • Liaise with the Site Manager, project team, subcontractors, trades and suppliers regarding construction activities, site requirements and project progress. • Maintain relevant site records and provide progress updates and other construction-related information to the Site Manager and project team as required. Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience: - Relevant Diploma or higher qualification, plus minimum 1 year’ full time (or equivalent part time) work experience in the industry within the past 5 years. - 3 years’ work experience in the industry may substitute the formal relevant qualification. Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge: • Previous experience in construction supervision. • Good understanding of construction processes. • Ability to work effectively with trades and subcontractors. • Relevant building/construction qualifications are desirable. • Current Australian driver's licence. Annual salary will be between $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 (plus superannuation) depending on level of experience. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
