Working as part of a dedicated project team, you will contribute to a significant talent attraction initiative focused on engaging experienced professionals from a range of industries and supporting their transition into a rewarding new career path. Your new role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting high-volume outbound and inbound candidate engagement activities through phone, digital and face-to-face channels.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with prospective candidates from a range of industry sectors, including trades, health, community services, hospitality, tourism and technology.
- Engaging proactively with targeted talent pools, including career changers, returning workforce participants and transitioning professionals.
- Providing accurate and engaging information about career pathways, qualification requirements and available support programs.
- Working closely with training providers and industry stakeholders to support talent identification and candidate attraction activities.
- Managing candidate pipelines and maintaining accurate records, activity tracking and reporting.
- Supporting candidate engagement strategies, outreach campaigns and sourcing initiatives to maximise talent attraction outcomes.
- Delivering an exceptional candidate experience while guiding individuals through the early stages of the recruitment process.
- Collaborating with a small, high-performing team to achieve project goals and campaign objectives.
What you'll need to succeed
You will bring:
- Experience within recruitment, talent acquisition, candidate engagement, business development, sales or a related people-focused environment.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills with the ability to engage confidently with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of candidate interactions while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
- Experience building and maintaining talent pipelines and managing recruitment or customer relationship management systems.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet activity targets in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine interest in supporting workforce development and helping candidates navigate career transitions.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a project-based team environment while adapting to changing priorities.
- Experience engaging with skilled professionals across a range of industries will be highly regarded.
- A current unrestricted driving licence and the ability to undertake occasional travel, including overnight stays when required.
