The Job Company Pty Ltd on behalf of SIVOM GROUP PTY LTD T/A FOODWORKS GRANTVILLE (ABN 90 675 168 466) Is seeking skilled and qualified Retail Manager to join our team in  Grantville, VIC. The ideal candidates should have hands on experience in maintaining stocks and service standards, setting prices, training and supervision of staff. 

1 Position:  Retail Manager 

Salary: $80,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation 

Type: Full-time (minimum 38 hours per week)

Location:  Grantville, 3984, Victoria

Task & responsibilities

• Choose products that customers want, are profitable, and fit the company's goals. Also, balance having enough products to meet demand with the costs of storing and managing inventory. 
• Set service levels that meet customer expectations, such as fast delivery and high product availability. 
• Identify target audience, their needs, and preferences and define product unique selling points and competitive advantage by developing advertising, sales promotion and public relations strategies. 
• Understanding customer requirements and tailor solutions. 
• Addressing concerns and negotiate prices. 
• Finalising transactions and ensure customer satisfaction. 
• Generating reports on stock levels, stock value, and stock movements by accurately record financial transactions, including sales, purchases, and expenses. 
• Generating financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. 
• Understanding of the software to track stock levels, automate reporting, and optimise inventory management. Also, hands on in using accounting software to record financial transactions, manage accounts, and generate financial reports. 
• Estimate income from sales, services, or other sources through revenue forecasting by identifying and categorising fixed and variable expenses. 
• Overseeing staff recruitment, training, supervision, performance management, and development to maximize potential and drive business success effectively. 
• Ensure workplace safety by staying updated on regulations, assessing risks, developing policies, providing training, and conducting inspections to prevent injuries and promote a safety culture

Qualification & experience

• Minimum tertiary qualification in the retail/business field. 
• Minimum 1+ years of experience in the relevant field. 
• Strong experience with retail shop duties. 
• Hands-on experience in retail industry 
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
