Retail Manager

Task & responsibilities

Planning and coordinating the daily operations of the retail liquor store

Managing stock levels, ordering inventory, and liaising with suppliers

Monitoring sales performance and implementing strategies to maximise revenue

Ensuring high standards of customer service and resolving customer complaints

Recruiting, training, supervising, and rostering staff

Maintaining records of stock, sales, and financial transactions

Ensuring compliance with liquor licensing laws, workplace health and safety regulations, and company policies

Managing budgets, controlling costs, and preparing reports for the Director

Overseeing visual merchandising and promotional activities

Qualification & experience

At least 1 year of experience in retail management or a similar role

Strong leadership and staff supervision skills

Sound knowledge of retail operations and stock control

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Understanding of WA liquor licensing requirements (preferred)
