About the role:
As the Supporter Engagement Lead, you will play a key role in strengthening donor relationships, growing philanthropic support and delivering engagement initiatives that create long-term impact.
- Lead and deliver supporter engagement strategies that drive donor retention, revenue growth and long-term supporter relationships.
- Provide leadership, mentoring and development to a small and dedicated team.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value donors, supporters and philanthropic stakeholders.
- Identify, cultivate and steward major gift, bequest and individual giving opportunities.
- Develop personalised engagement and recognition initiatives that enhance the supporter experience.
- Lead fundraising campaigns and supporter engagement activities in partnership with internal teams.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to bring supporter impact stories to life.
- Represent the organisation at supporter, fundraising and community events.
- Maintain accurate donor records and contribute to reporting, forecasting and strategic planning.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends and best practice in philanthropy, fundraising and supporter engagement.
About you:
You are an experienced relationship builder with a passion for creating meaningful supporter experiences and developing long-term donor relationships.
- Demonstrated experience within fundraising, donor engagement, philanthropy or supporter relations.
- Proven experience leading, mentoring or developing team members.
- Experience managing and growing relationships with donors or key stakeholders.
- A track record of delivering fundraising, engagement or revenue growth outcomes.
- Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.
- Experience developing and implementing engagement or stewardship strategies.
- Previous leadership experience or the ability to coach and develop team members.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience using CRM systems and leveraging data to inform decision making.
