The Opportunity
Our client is an established Queensland construction business delivering new builds, refurbishments and maintenance projects across South-East Queensland.
Due to continued project activity, they are looking for a Junior Project Administrator to join their Bowen Hills team and support an experienced construction team across a busy portfolio of projects.
This opportunity would suit someone with administration experience who is looking to step into a project-focused role, build their construction knowledge and develop their career within a stable and supportive business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to Project Managers and project teams.
  • Maintain project documentation, registers, correspondence and filing systems.
  • Assist with the preparation, distribution and tracking of project documentation.
  • Coordinate subcontractor and supplier documentation and follow up outstanding information.
  • Assist with purchase orders, invoices and general project administration.
  • Prepare meeting minutes, reports and project correspondence.
  • Assist with document control and project compliance requirements.
  • Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers and external stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous administration experience, ideally within construction, engineering, property, infrastructure or another project-based environment.
  • Candidates with strong administration experience looking to move into construction project administration are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and confidence working with documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence liaising with internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Confident Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a busy team environment.
