Leading Hand Carpenter

Leading Hand Carpenter – $10M Luxury New Build | Whale Beach

We’re working with an award-winning luxury residential design and construction builder specialising in large-scale, architecturally designed homes across Sydney. Known for delivering complex builds with a strong focus on craftsmanship, attention to detail and premium finishes, they have an established team and a strong pipeline of projects valued between $10M and $40M.

They are looking for an experienced Leading Hand Carpenter to join the team on a $10M luxury new build in Whale Beach, working closely alongside an experienced Site Manager.

The Role

The project has a significant structural component, with extensive off-form concrete construction from the slabs through to the concrete roof. We’re looking for someone who is confident through the structural stages of a complex build, including formwork, steel and concrete pours, before progressing into the high-end finishing stages.

• Assist with the day-to-day coordination and delivery of the project
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and trades
• Work across structural works including formwork, steel and concrete pours
• Read and interpret architectural, structural and engineering drawings
• Assist with programming, sequencing and coordination of upcoming works
• Maintain high standards across quality, safety and workmanship
• Work across the full construction lifecycle through to detailed luxury finishes

About You

• Qualified Carpenter with Leading Hand / Foreman experience
• Must have experience on large-scale, architecturally designed residential new builds
• Strong structural construction knowledge
• Comfortable working across concrete-heavy builds and complex structural stages
• Experience across the full construction lifecycle
• Confident coordinating trades and subcontractors
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and quality

What’s on Offer

• $10M luxury new build in Whale Beach
• Work on technically complex, architecturally designed homes
