Site Manager- 12 Month Contract

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established construction company on a 12-month contract delivering a high-profile mixed-use development in Sydney CBD.

The project:

• Co-living accommodation units
• Retail / shopfront spaces
• Alterations and additions to an existing building
• Complex refurbishment and new-build components

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising subcontractors and trades on site
• Coordinating daily site activities and sequencing
• Managing site logistics and deliveries
• Monitoring quality, safety and progress
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
• Coordinating trades across multiple work fronts
• Assisting with programme and short-term planning
• Conducting site walks, inspections and toolbox meetings
• Liaising with the Site Manager, subcontractors, consultants and project team
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with project specifications and WHS requirements

About You

We are looking for a Site Foreman with strong commercial construction experience, ideally with exposure to mixed-use, residential, refurbishment or fit-out projects.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Site Manager / General Foreman
• Strong subcontractor and trade coordination skills
• Experience working on projects involving alterations & additions
• Ability to manage multiple trades and competing priorities
• Strong understanding of construction methodology and sequencing
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Relevant construction qualifications and White Card
