About the role:

This temporary, full-time role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely end-to-end payroll services within a large, complex organisation. You'll manage payroll processing from start to finish, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing across a high-volume environment
  • Work closely with HR, Finance and key stakeholders to resolve payroll matters
  • Use SAP to process, maintain and reconcile payroll data

Key responsibilities:

  • Process end-to-end payroll accurately and within required deadlines
  • Maintain employee payroll data and process changes, deductions, leave and allowances
  • Perform payroll reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
  • Respond to complex payroll queries and provide timely resolutions
  • Prepare payroll reports and assist with payroll-related audits and compliance
  • Ensure payroll processing aligns with relevant legislation, awards and organisational policies
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to payroll system improvements
  • Work collaboratively with HR, Finance and other stakeholders to resolve payroll issues

Experience:

You bring strong hands-on experience in end-to-end payroll processing and are confident working with SAP in a high-volume payroll environment. You're analytical, detail-oriented and comfortable managing complex payroll queries while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end payroll
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP Payroll / SAP HR
  • Experience working in a high-volume or complex payroll environment
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation, superannuation, tax and leave requirements
  • Strong reconciliation, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Confident communicating with employees and internal stakeholders
  • Experience identifying and implementing payroll process improvements
