The Opportunity:
St James School invites applications for a passionate and committed Primary Teacher commencing in January 2027.

Key responsibilities include:
- Actively supporting and promoting the Catholic identity, mission and values of St James School.
- Planning, delivering and assessing high-quality learning programs aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
- Using evidence, assessment and student data to inform teaching and improve learning outcomes.
- Creating inclusive learning environments that meet the diverse needs of all students.
- Implementing positive behaviour support practices that promote wellbeing, engagement and success for every learner.
- Building collaborative and respectful partnerships with students, families, colleagues and the wider school community.
About You
We are seeking educators who:
- Demonstrate a commitment to Catholic education and a willingness to contribute actively to the faith life of the school.
- Hold current Teacher Registration in South Australia.
- Have a sound understanding of contemporary evidence-based teaching practices and the Australian Curriculum.
- Are committed to inclusive education and supporting the diverse learning needs of students.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
- Work collaboratively within professional learning teams and are committed to ongoing professional growth and school improvement.
