Our client is seeking an experienced VP of Growth to lead the day-to-day operations and drive the continued growth of a growing business based in Bibra Lake. This senior leadership role is suited to a commercially focused leader with strong financial, operational and people management skills.

This is a permanent, full-time position offering $220,000 plus superannuation, with the opportunity to work closely with an established entrepreneur, take ownership of business performance and drive significant growth.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Taking ownership of the P&L and overall financial performance
  • Driving top-line and bottom-line growth, including gross profit and EBITDA
  • Developing and executing strategic plans to achieve financial targets
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports, budgets and forecasts
  • Leading, developing and building high-performing teams
  • Hiring exceptional people and developing strong managers
  • Creating a culture of accountability, curiosity and service excellence
  • Improving systems, processes and operational performance
  • Staying close to frontline operations and identifying customer pain points
  • Continuously improving the customer experience
  • Setting strategy, priorities and business goals
  • Allocating resources and making fast, data-informed decisions
  • Working closely with the General Manager as part of a collaborative leadership partnership
  • Collaborating with finance, people, product and integration teams
  • Supporting significant organic growth and future M&A initiatives

What you’ll need:

  • University degree, with MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
  • A strong track record of delivering measurable commercial and operational results
  • Senior leadership or small-to-medium business general management experience preferred
  • Strong financial management, budgeting, forecasting and P&L experience
  • FP&A experience
  • Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills
  • Strategic mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities
  • Confidence making data-driven decisions
  • High emotional intelligence and a genuine interest in people management
  • Experience hiring, training and developing high-performing teams
  • A resourceful, hands-on approach with the willingness to roll up your sleeves
  • The ability to work hard, learn quickly and thrive in a growing business
  • Previous trades experience is not essential; however, candidates must demonstrate a genuine respect for the trades
  • Full working rights in Australia
