- Liaise with cross-functional teams across R&D, manufacturing, engineering, quality, and regulatory, gaining exposure to full product lifecycle projects
- Support high-value capital projects exceeding $10 million, including technology transfer and manufacturing scale-up
- Establish governance frameworks and project systems that will support the organisation’s long-term growth and operational excellence
- Work onsite in Brisbane with direct access to senior leadership and external partners, including CDMOs
- Contribute to projects that impact patient access to innovative medicines, with clear project milestones and deliverables
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate multiple pharmaceutical development and capital projects from concept to commercialisation
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, budgets and resource requirements
- Establish governance, reporting structures and project methodologies aligned with organisational goals
- Manage dependencies, risks, issues and change control across project portfolios
- Support manufacturing scale-up, operational readiness, and technology transfer activities
- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and senior leadership to ensure project alignment and timely delivery
- Track project progress and translate complex data into clear, concise reports for executive review
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years' project management experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or related manufacturing environments
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects, managing scope, timelines and budgets
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical development processes and GMP manufacturing standards
- Experience managing risks, dependencies and communicating complex project status to senior stakeholders
- Excellent organisational, stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration skills
- Ability to influence without direct authority and navigate ambiguity in a growing biotech setting
Desirable Skills & Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in relevant discipline, with PMP or equivalent certification
- Experience leading large-scale capital projects over $10 million, including blue- and greenfield manufacturing builds
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and experience supporting API, sterile, or radiopharmaceutical projects
- Background supporting global development organisations and handling technical transfer or scale-up initiatives
- Strong facilitation, change management, and leadership skills suitable for a high-growth environment
