Longreach Recruitment is partnering with a well-established not-for-profit organisation to appoint a Property Services Manager on a 14-month contract from November 2026 to January 2028.

This is a high-impact leadership role covering property operations, contractors, budgets, compliance, stakeholder management and continuous improvement, with an established team and diverse property portfolio.

The Role

  • Lead, mentor and develop the Property Services team
  • Oversee property operations, maintenance programs and contractors
  • Manage budgets, expenditure, procurement and tenders
  • Ensure building, WHS and statutory compliance
  • Monitor KPIs, reporting and portfolio performance
  • Manage leased and strata property arrangements
  • Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Drive continuous improvement across Property Services

About You
You will have proven experience in property or facilities management, with strong leadership, contractor management and commercial skills.

You will bring:

  • Experience leading and developing teams
  • Strong property, facilities or asset management experience
  • Exposure to residential housing and knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act 
  • Sound knowledge of building maintenance and compliance
  • Strong financial and budget management skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A practical, collaborative and solutions-focused approach

The successful candidate will ideally commence in November to allow for a 2–4 week handover with the current incumbent prior to their parental leave.
