About the Role

As a Chef at Warrigal – Bundanoon, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day kitchen operations across the weekend and work independently. You will have the opportunity to use the skills you've developed throughout your career while learning the requirements of an aged-care kitchen.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook fresh, quality meals for residents

• Complete food preparation and bulk cooking

• Prepare texture-modified meals in line with resident dietary requirements

• Work independently to manage the kitchen across the weekend

• Complete general kitchen duties, including dishwashing and clean-down

• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness

• Follow relevant dietary and food service requirements
