YACHT INFORMATION

A 31m private motor yacht is seeking an experienced and confident Engineer to join the team on a rotational contract, commencing in October 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer seeking a long-term position aboard a private vessel cruising the East Coast of Australia.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS & ATTRIBUTES

The ideal candidate will be a motivated, hands-on team player who demonstrates:

• Strong engineering knowledge, confidence and technical skills.
• A genuine interest in securing a long-term position.
• The ability to work closely alongside the Captain, who is also a qualified Engineer.
• A strong work ethic, excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
• The ability to work harmoniously with the crew and maintain the vessel to a high standard.
• Experience and confidence in maintaining reliable operations while cruising in remote areas.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Y4 Engineer qualification, AMSA MED 1 or higher.
• STCW
• ENG1
