What you’ll be doing

  • Lead Asset & Maintenance operations across WA, covering fleet, mobile plant and fixed plant assets
  • Manage the full asset lifecycle, including utilisation, procurement, delivery, optimisation and disposal
  • Provide technical advice to operational managers and key stakeholders on asset performance and maintenance

· Provide leadership and technical direction to the maintenance team

  • Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance, workshop assurance and contractor coordination across WA sites
  • Analyse maintenance trends, asset utilisation and costs to drive performance, safety and asset optimisation

What you’ll bring

  • Trade qualification and strong background as a Diesel Mechanic, Plant Mechanic or similar
  • Experience in asset and maintenance management across fleet, plant or heavy equipment
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on approach
  • Proven leadership experience with strong team and contractor management skills
  • Understanding of asset lifecycle, maintenance costs, P&L and procurement
  • Strong safety focus with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
