Document Controller / Business Support Officer (Hybrid)

Location: Lismore | Hybrid Working Arrangement

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Document Controller/Business Support Officer to support the delivery of major infrastructure and restoration projects. This hybrid role offers a 50/50 split between document control responsibilities and broader business support functions, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both systems-driven work and team coordination.

About the Role

Document Control (Approx. 50%)

  • Manage and maintain project documentation across multiple systems.
  • Ensure funding records, project files and corporate records are accurate, compliant and easily accessible.
  • Utilise Content Manager and Aconex to manage document workflows, approvals and record keeping.
  • Support project governance requirements through accurate document control and record management.
  • Assist project teams with reporting, correspondence and documentation processes.

Business Support (Approx. 50%)

  • Prepare agendas, take minutes and maintain action registers for Project Steering Group (PSG) meetings, including supporting multiple concurrent meetings.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to project managers and leadership teams.
  • Work collaboratively with other Business Support Officers to ensure the efficient operation of the office.
  • Assist with reporting, stakeholder communications, procurement administration and general project support activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support a positive team environment.

About You

  • Previous experience in a Document Control, Project Administration, Business Support or similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience using document management systems, ideally Content Manager and/or Aconex.
  • Strong attention to detail with proven records management and document control capabilities.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including minute taking and report preparation.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines across multiple projects.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite and comfortable learning new systems.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive and customer-focused approach.
