#RJED Community Support Worker

Stedman's are seeking two Community Support Workers, one male and one female, that will support local employees by providing mentoring, assisting with attendance, helping workers manage workplace and cultural commitments and strengthening communication between workers and supervisors. As respected members of the community, the support workers will also assist local residents to communicate maintenance requests and log jobs, helping bridge language and communication barriers between community members and trades teams. By addressing practical and cultural barriers to employment, this program will improve job retention and strengthen community engagement in Maningrida. Ideally the successful applicant will have a DL, Ochre Card and White Card but not essential. This role does not come with housing and is best suited to someone already living in Maningrida.
