Listed 14 Sep 2026

Closes 16 Oct 2026

On behalf of our client, we’re looking for an experienced full-time Sales & Product Engineer who sits at the intersection of technical depth and customer empathy. You'll be the person who takes a prospective customer from "this sounds interesting" to "I need this now" — by understanding their infrastructure pain, running compelling demos, and guiding them through a successful proof of value. You'll also feed what you learn back into the product, making you a critical voice in shaping what we build next. This is an early, high-impact hire. You'll work directly with the founders and have real influence over how our client goes to market. What You'll Do • Own the technical sale — Identify, develop and pursue new business opportunities by engaging prospective clients, understanding their cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes environments, and positioning the company's solutions to address operational and commercial challenges. Develop sales methodologies, client engagement frameworks, proposal templates, and onboarding processes to support business growth and improve customer acquisition outcomes. Drive account growth by identifying opportunities to expand service adoption, increase product utilisation, and develop long-term strategic partnerships with clients. • Run proof-of-value engagements - Lead business development activities, including client discovery meetings, solution presentations, product demonstrations, and commercial discussions, translating technical capabilities into clear business value and return on investment. • Be the voice of the customer — synthesize patterns from prospects and customers into clear product feedback, and partner with engineering to prioritize what matters most. • Build the playbook — as an early hire, you'll document what works: objection handling, demo flows, onboarding checklists, and technical FAQs. • Support expansion — help existing customers find new use cases and increase adoption across their infrastructure. What We're Looking For • 3–6 years in a sales engineering, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical role at a developer tools, infrastructure, or cloud company. • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes — you can speak credibly about workload scheduling, resource limits, pod overhead, and cluster costs. • Familiarity with cloud cost and observability concepts (rightsizing, FinOps, CPU/memory profiling). • Strong communicator who can translate deep technical concepts for a VP of Engineering and a CFO in the same conversation. • Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action — this isn't a role with a polished playbook handed to you on day one. • Bonus: experience with AI/ML infrastructure, GPU workloads, or inference optimization.
