Key Responsibilities
Perform ECG s
Draw bloods, swabs, etc., as required in treatment room
Engage in health promotion activities
Administer medication and monitor and manage Doctors’ bags, supplies and same cupboard
Wound management and dressings
Provide assistance with minor surgical procedures
Triage patients
Administer immunizations as directed by GP
Provide assistance with health assessments, medical health assessments and chronic disease
management activities
Assist reception staff in general reception duties
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards of the clinic
Chaperone where required/requested
Assist GPs with minor surgical procedures such as (but not limited to) fracture repair, suturing,

Ensure outstanding client experience and excellent customer service to all patients
Complete E Health uploads for each quarter
Any other administrative duties as directed by Practice Manager
Operational
Work with the Practice Manager and principals to develop and maintain a suite of Practice policies and
procedures, including infection control
Ensure consumables equipment and medications are kept stocked and maintained to the
manufacturer’s standards and conditions, including a Register of Stock. This also includes colour coding
all items (medical consumables and perishables) and doing end of month checks to check for expiry
dates
Maintain the cleanliness of clinical rooms to a high standard in accordance with national standards
Maintain Practice register for recalls/reminders and follow up on test results
Excellent documentation and communication skills
Able to work as part of a team and contribute to the team environment
Provide support for GPs in managing the fast flow through of patients
