Front of House Team Member

About the Role We are an established hospitality group seeking confident and customer-focused Front of House Team Members for one of our contemporary restaurants in Hobart. We are looking for people who genuinely enjoy hospitality, communicate well with guests and take pride in providing excellent service. Key Responsibilities * Welcoming and seating guests * Providing professional and attentive table service * Taking food and beverage orders accurately * Learning the menu and confidently explaining dishes to guests * Making food and beverage recommendations * Managing tables throughout the dining experience * Processing payments and operating the POS system * Setting and resetting tables * Maintaining a clean and well-presented restaurant * Communicating effectively with the kitchen and FOH team * Assisting with opening and closing procedures * Helping create a positive and memorable experience for every guest What We’re Looking For Ideally, you will have previous experience in a restaurant, bar, hotel or similar hospitality environment. You should be: * Confident and personable with customers * Reliable and punctual * Well presented * Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment * A strong communicator * Team focused with a positive attitude * Interested in food, beverages and hospitality * Available for evening and weekend shifts An RSA certificate is preferred for positions involving alcohol service.
