Fitzroy River Lodge, is a leading hospitality provider situated along the iconic Great Nothern Highway in the Kimberely region of Western Australia. We are actively seeking for 4 Cooks to work with us. This role is available for a four year period, commencing in December 2026. The hourly rate will be in accordance with the Hospitality Industry (General) Award (MA000009), Level 2. The position operates on a seven-day rotating roster, which may include weekend shifts. List of Duties • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly • Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages • Prepare ingredients to use in cooking • Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment • Cook food in various utensils or grillers • Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served • Check quality of ingredients Requirements of the role • Commitment to following established procedures and health and safety practices • Guaranteed commitment to shift times; being flexible and punctual • Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware • Ability to follow all sanitation procedures • Ability to work in a team • Very good communication skills
