Fitzroy River Lodge is a leading hospitality provider situated along the iconic Great Northern Highway in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. We are actively seeking for 4 Allrounders (Housekeeper + Waiter) to work with us. This role is available for a four-year period, commencing in December 2026. The hourly rate will be in accordance with the Hospitality Industry (General) Award (MA000009), Level 2. The position operates on a seven-day rotating roster, which may include weekend shifts. List of duties Housekeeping Duties: • Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors • Stocking and maintaining supply rooms • Carrying out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects • Emptying trash bins • Washing and drying windows • Dusting furniture and designated facility areas Waiter / Food & Beverage Duties: • Taking customer orders and providing menu information, including specials • Writing down and passing orders to kitchen staff • Delivering food and beverages to tables and checking customer satisfaction • Ensuring food orders are accurate and presented professionally • Following food handling and hygiene standards • Supporting dining area operations, including pre-bussing, wiping tables, and maintaining service areas Requirements of the role • Commitment to following established procedures and health and safety practices • Guaranteed commitment to shift times; being flexible and punctual • Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning • Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours • Great physical strength, stamina, and the ability to work fast under constant pressure • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work as a team • Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision • Great customer service skills
