Waiter/Bartender JOB TITLE: Waiter/Bartender JOB TYPE: Full-time, ongoing LOCATION: Kingscote SA SALARY: $70,000 - $75,000 MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide food and beverage service to hotel guests and external patrons across the restaurant, bar and in-room dining (IRD) according to rostered operational needs. • Take reservations, greet guests and patrons, assist with seating and present menus and beverage information. • Take food and beverage orders and serve meals, beverages and in-room dining orders. • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including basic mixed drinks and coffee beverages where required. • Set, clear and reset tables and maintain dining, bar and service areas in a clean and presentable condition. • Process customer payments using EFTPOS and point-of-sale systems and follow cash-handling procedures. • Replenish beverage and service stock, glassware, refrigerators and other front-of-house supplies. • Respond to routine guest enquiries regarding accommodation services, dining, amenities and other property services and refer complex matters to a supervisor. • Promote available services and products and provide professional customer service throughout the guest experience. • Follow workplace health and safety, food-safety, responsible service of alcohol and other applicable regulations and maintain current RSA where required. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Qualifications: Certificate II in Hospitality (SIT20322) or equivalent, or at least one year of relevant food and beverage service experience. Current South Australian approved Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate is required; food-safety handler training (SITXFSA005) is required; barista training is desirable. Experience: Relevant experience in a hotel, restaurant, bar or other customer-facing hospitality environment.
