BHAC Employment Services is looking for Customer Service Officers to support participants and community members who visit or contact the RAES office.
You will be one of the first people participants see when they come into the office and will help make sure they receive friendly, respectful and practical support.
You will:
• Welcome participants and community members to the RAES office
• Answer phone calls and respond to basic enquiries
• Help participants understand appointments, RAES services and participation options
• Complete routine participant appointments and check-ins
• Help participants with basic forms, documents and appointment information
• Record attendance, appointments and participant contact in the system
• Refer participants to an Employment Consultant, Mentor or other team member when they need more support
• Help keep the reception and participant area organised and welcoming
• Work with the RAES team to provide good service to participants
Essential:
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Friendly, respectful and comfortable talking with different people
• Ability to explain information in a simple and easy-to-understand way
• Basic computer skills and ability to enter information accurately
• Ability to answer phones and assist people at the front counter
• Ability to follow procedures and know when to ask another team member for help
• Reliable, organised and able to manage different tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to keep participant information private and confidential
• Ochre Card
• National Police Check
Desirable:
• Experience in customer service, administration, employment services or community services
• Driver’s licence
This position does not come with housing.
